We were able to take 2 tours while staying in the Arenal area. We had the same guide (Raul) both times. He was VERY imformative and knowledgable. We loved both trips and would recommend them to anyone. Thank You! Awsome!

This was an all day trip (7am – 10pm) with Jacamar Naturalist Tours (http://www.arenaltours.com/). I can’t say enough about this tour company. They are extremely professional, well prepared and extremely knowledgeable. The buses were comfortable and well maintain. The drivers also have to be mentioned, they have the skill to take buses where we would be afraid to take our car... Tripadvisor

Most of their tours are done through Jacamar Tours, and they did an excellent job. We never had to worry about transportation or lunch. Tripadvisor

We chose to explore LaFortuna and find a tour company ourselves and ended up being very pleased with Jacamar tours. We did a 3:00pm Volcano Hike the day we arrived. The next morning, we did a "Safari" and then a night hike at 5:30pm. We had lots of time in the middle of the day to relax by the pool and in our room. We loved our guide and highly recommend this company in LaFortuna. Tripadvisor
